Dr Okker Botha is a registered naturopathic and homeopathic doctor with a strong passion for natural medicine and nutrition. Over the past 20, almost 25 years, he has specialised in live and dry blood analysis, a technique he was drawn to early in his career because of its unique ability to reveal imbalances at a cellular level. In collaboration with Live Blood Online, Dr Okker has had the privilege of training nearly 1000 health practitioners around the world in this field.
He realised quite early on that while the technique is incredibly powerful, the training available at the time was often limited or one-sided. So he developed a more comprehensive training course by drawing on all the major schools of thought, along with his own clinical experience. That course is now, in many cases, considered the gold standard in nutritional microscopy training globally.
In addition to teaching, Dr Okker also co-owns NeoGenesis Health Products, a company that develops and supplies natural medicines, many of which were formulated by observing the changes in live blood in response to specific ingredient combinations.
His clinical focus is on complex chronic cases, like autoimmune conditions, digestive issues, and leaky gut syndrome, and he has found that live and dry blood analysis gives him deeper insight into what’s really going on with the patient, which off course leads to better outcomes.
